Has advised clients in connection with the financing of office buildings, shopping centers, as well as other retail, commercial, industrial, including pharmaceutical and residential planned developments as well as other properties. She acted as lead real estate Puerto Rico counsel in the Public Private Partnership for the long term lease of the International airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the largest in the Caribbean region and the first airport under the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Pilot Program, as well as directed Puerto Rico real estate matters in connection with the largest project for the production of solar energy in Puerto Rico.She also works with commercial acquisitions, having most recently led the acquisition of a cement plant and the distributorship and dealer of a line of luxury cars.Ms. Bauzá has ample experience working with wills and trusts, advising her clients through the very specific requirements of inheritance laws in Puerto Rico.By designation of the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico, Ms. Bauzá served on the Board of Examiners for Admission to the Puerto Rico Bar since 2006.She served as legal advisor in the Governor’s Office, in matters related to the Public Safety Council.
