About David
David Reid joined Brazeau Seller Law as student in 2010, then returned as an Associate and became a Partner in 2022. Prior to embarking on his legal career, David worked as both a Finance Coordinator and a Project Manager at a multi-national branding and design company.David practices in Brazeau Seller’s Real Estate Group, representing a wide variety of clients in their purchases, sales, financing, and/or leasing, acting in standalone transactions and in the real estate components of larger commercial transactions. David also frequently consults with Brazeau Seller’s Litigation Group on disputes involving real property issues. David is an avid participant in all things Brazeau Seller, hosting monthly lawyer meetings, social events, and playing an active role in shaping and maintaining Brazeau Seller’s firm culture.David has been an active member of the Meritas Young Lawyers group since joining the Young Lawyer Advisory Board in 2018, and is the Chair of the newly re-branded Emerging Leader Advisory Board for 2023-2024. In May of 2023, David joined the Meritas Board of Directors and is serving on the Meritas Member Engagement Committee.Outside of work, David enjoys woodworking, and is a Director of the Ottawa Tool Library, a non-profit organization that provides the Ottawa community with access to all manner of tools, and hosts workshops and events to educate and promote craftsmanship, upcycling, and waste diversion.
