About Ron
Ron combines legal work at Brazeau Seller Law with consulting work at its affiliate, Equitas Consultants Inc.His legal practice is focused on commercial transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and sales of business and properties. During his legal career, he has represented both buyers and sellers in some of Ottawa’s largest private transactions. As part of BSL’s CannaLaw® group, Ron acts as senior counsel on the structuring and financing of cannabis businesses, as well as on purchase and sale transactions.Ron also focuses on the transition of family businesses through facilitated discussions and the implementation of appropriate governance structures. He is a Certified Family Business Facilitator with Family Enterprise Xchange (formerly known as the Canadian Association of Family Enterprise).Ron has given back to the community over the years in many ways, including chairing the boards of the Jewish Federation of Ottawa, the Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation, and various other local and national organizations. He currently chairs the Board of Kind Canada Genereux and co-chairs the capital campaign for Congregation Machzikei Hadas.
