Xavier graduated in law from the Universidad Autònoma de Barcelona (1987). He gained a Postgraduate Diploma in European Union Law from the Barcelona College of Lawyers (1994).He joined Pareja& Associats, Advocats in 1986 and he has worked as a lawyer with the firm since then.During his time with the company he has gained extensive professional experience as a legal adviser negotiating contracts and agreements, preparing spatial planning and urban management tools and providing defence counsel in contentious legal proceedings.
