Sierra has practiced exclusively in family law since being called to the Alberta Bar in 2016. She is dedicated to working with individuals to find practical solutions to their legal challenges. Sierra has published and lectured for the Legal Education Society of Alberta on topics such as child support considerations for children with disabilities, determining income when the payor is self-employed, and the impact of the status quo in interim parenting applications.Sierra holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Philosophy from Queen’s University (2010), a Master of Arts in Philosophy from Wilfrid Laurier University (2011), and a Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary (2015).Outside of her legal practice, Sierra is passionate about exploring the mountains on foot or skis, reading, and spending time with her three sisters. She actively volunteers with the Calgary Immigrant Women’s Association and has previously contributed to the Wildwood Community Association Board of Directors, Kids Up Front, and the Association of Women Lawyers.
