Alex gained experience in the areas of criminal defense and family law, appearing regularly in both the Provincial and Supreme Courts.Upon arriving in Alberta in 2006, Alex worked with Alberta Justice Civil Litigation – Family Law representing the Director of Child and Youth Services. He gained litigation experience in Alberta at both the Provincial Court and Court of King’s Bench.Alex’s educational background includes a Law Degree from Dalhousie University Law School, and a BA from Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador.Alex volunteered as a board member with the Children’s Legal and Education Resource Centre from 2004 until 2013. He currently volunteers with Generations of Hope Fertility Assistance Fund and is a member of the executive of Canadian Bar Association, Family Section.
