About Richard
RICHARD M. GELB is a partner with the Boston trial firm of Gelb & Gelb LLP where he represents clients in civil and criminal litigation and regulatory proceedings in the financial services and health care areas. He received his B.A. from New York University and J.D. from Boston College Law School. Mr. Gelb is listed in The Best Lawyers in America in the areas of Commercial Litigation and Securities Litigation and New England Super Lawyers. He is a co-author of MCLE’s Massachusetts E-Discovery and Evidence: Preservation through Trial and a contributing author to Massachusetts Superior Court Civil Practice. He is the past co-president of the Boston Inn of Court and a founder of the Suffolk University Law School Litigation American Inn of Court. He served on the board of trustees of the American Inns of Court Foundation and currently serves as the Massachusetts liaison to the American Inns of Court. Mr. Gelb was a member of the Boston Bar Association Task Force on Civility in the Legal Profession and the Massachusetts Bar Association Committee on Professional Ethics. At Boston College Law School, he was Vice President, Communications of the Boston College Law School Alumni Council and co-chair of the Leadership Gifts Committee. He received the Reverend James B. Malley, S.J. Award for service and commitment to the law school. Mr. Gelb is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and a Life Member of the Massachusetts Bar Foundation.
