Rainer Viktor started his training in the field of Intellectual Property protection at the IP law firm VOSSIUS & PARTNER in Munich in 1995. He was admitted to practice as a German Patent Attorney (Patentanwalt) and a European Trademark Attorney in 1998, and as a European Patent Attorney in 1999. Mr. Viktor became a partner in the firm in 2000.Rainer Viktor advises his clients in prosecution of patent applications in the areas of medical devices, health care products, software, bioinformatics, business methods, and electronic devices, and has extensive experience in opposition and appeal proceedings in these fields.Mr. Viktor is also involved in infringement and revocation proceedings, for example relating to standards-relevant patents in the field of telecommunications.He is responsible for the patent portfolio of several start-up enterprises in the field of green energy, automotive simulation technology, and digital imaging software.
