Dr. Marcus von Welser was admitted to the bar in 2002 and was certified as an attorney specialized in intellectual property law in 2008. He advises and represents clients in all areas of intellectual property law, in particular copyright, trademark and competition law. He also has extensive experience in litigation and in negotiating contracts.His focus lies on judicial and out-of-court enforcement of intellectual property rights. He has long-time litigation experience before numerous district courts and higher district courts, before the Federal Patent Court and before the Court of Justice of the European Union in Luxembourg. His focus further is on drafting and negotiating licence agreements and on consultation with reference to antitrust law.Regarding trademarks and designs, he furthermore provides legal advice regarding the strategic development of IP portfolios.
