I have practiced family law since 1998, and have provided collaborative law services for the past 15 years. I am one of the founding members of Collaborative Practice Manitoba and currently am on its Management Committee as well as serving as the Chair of the Membership Committee.I have taught at the Faculty of Law, University of Manitoba, as a sessional instructor since 2005. I currently teach the Clinical Family Law course and have done so since 2009.I am a frequent presenter at the Law Society of Manitoba, the Faculty of Law and the Manitoba Bar Association on topics of collaborative family law and other family law related issues.I was named to the Best Lawyers List in 2015 and received the Best Lawyers Lawyer of the Year for 2018 and 2016 (Family Law -- Winnipeg).I am fluent in American Sign Language and have served the Deaf Community, both locally and nationally for over 30 years, earning a lifetime achievement award from the Association of Visual Language Interpreters.
