Prior to joining the firm, he managed another Albuquerque law firm focusing his efforts on the defense of individuals accused of serious crimes. He was appointed by the State of New Mexico to represent hundreds of criminal defendants through the first seven years of his practice of law, and tried dozens of those cases to juries in New Mexico. He has also been a member of the Criminal Justice Act panel for the United States District Court for the District of New Mexico for more than ten years.Mr. Kochersberger was honored to be named as the State Bar of New Mexico’s Business Law Section Lawyer of the Year in 2019.
