Kelly, Trotter & Franzen was established in 1994 in Long Beach, California, specializing in insurance and professional liability defense. We have since grown to include over 30 lawyers, whose range of expertise includes many related legal fields, such as business litigation, health care law, legal malpractice defense, product liability and managed care issues. Five of our partners are members of the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates, with a combined total of over 350 trials among them. Many of our members are also recognized as experts in the legal field and have both published and lectured to lawyers, health care professionals and members of the insurance industry.Our philosophy is to handle each and every case in an aggressive, yet ethical manner. We employ the latest in computer and medico-legal technology. Our approach is to work closely with our clients and their carriers to plan the successful resolution of their case. This careful, coordinated strategy has resulted in a success rate of better than 93 percent at trial and the ability to achieve early and very often, favorable settlement terms because of this reputation. In 2009, we opened our second satellite office in San Diego, conveniently near the Central and Hall of Justice courthouses to also better serve our clients in San Diego and Imperial counties.
