J K Hannaford Barristers is a law firm focusing on all areas of family law, including high conflict matrimonial disputes. We also represent clients on commercial matters. The firm was founded by Julie Hannaford, a former partner at a large downtown Toronto law firm who has practised in the areas of matrimonial and commercial litigation for more than 20 years. J K Hannaford Barristers opened on July 1, 2006 in offices located at the Scotia Tower. The firm quickly outgrew this space, however, and in August, 2007, settled into larger quarters in the CI Mutual Funds building at 151 Yonge Street at Richmond. The firm now includes four lawyers and a team of paralegal and administrative assistants; all dedicated to serving the needs of our clients. Litigation is always stressful. For those who are embroiled in highly personal disputes, such as the breakdown of family relationships and personal partnerships (of any kind), these times are fraught with uncertainty and anxiety.
