William H. Jackson III joined Pircher in 1989 and has focused his practice on the acquisition, disposition and financing of high-level, institutional quality, real estate. In the last year alone, the transactions he’s represented have totaled well over $1 billion. Jackson has built a reputable client list throughout his career which now includes some of the largest private equity investors on the West Coast, the largest fund investing in emerging managers, the largest family office based in the Southeast, the largest private equity fund sponsor and one of the largest developers of office, multifamily and mixed-use properties in the U.S. Jackson has developed a 360-degree view of the industry through his involvement in the public sector. He formerly has served as Chairman of the Board of Commissioners for City of Los Angeles’ Community Redevelopment Agency and President of the Board of Commissioners for the City of Los Angeles’ Fire & Police Pension System. Jackson gives back to the industry and students of law and real estate through his active involvement in his alma mater’s Stanford Alumni Real Estate Council in addition to the UCLA Ziman Center for Real Estate. He has also been a coach for Pircher’s Joint Venture Challenge. Jackson was recently recognized for his accomplishments by Best Lawyers® in the 2020 The Best Lawyers in America© in the category of Real Estate Law.
