Rachel Moore is an accomplished attorney with more than 25 years of legal experience. She practices in the areas of commercial, banking, and construction litigation, and appellate work. Licensed to practice in Alabama since 1992, her experience includes trying complex cases on behalf of financial institutions; handling foreclosures, judicial foreclosures, redemptions and deficiency actions, asset recovery, and negotiating and preparing workouts. In Rachel’s construction practice, she represents general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers in litigation matters. She routinely handles mechanics’ and materialmans’ lien claims, as well as private and public work bond claims. Her appellate practice involves preparing briefs, petitions, and presenting oral arguments.Rachel practices in all state and federal courts in the state of Alabama, including the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and holds an AV® Preeminent Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell and was named a 2021 Best Lawyers in America® in the field of construction. She is a member of the American Bar Association, as well as the Birmingham Bar Association – where she serves in the Bankruptcy/Commercial Law Section, the Women Lawyers Section, and on the Fee Arbitration Committee.
