Rachel ENG is the Deputy Chairman of WongPartnership. She is involved in the initial public offerings, including Regulation S and Rule 144A offerings, by companies and REITs listed on the Singapore Exchange. She also handles corporate advisory, corporate governance & compliance and financial services regulatory work.Rachel has been involved in a number of significant initial public offerings on the Singapore Exchange, including the offerings of PACC Offshore Services Holdings Ltd.; Asian Pay Television Trust; Ascendas Hospitality Trust; IHH Healthcare Berhad, the first dual concurrent listing on Bursa Malaysia and the Singapore Exchange; and Sri Trang Agro-Industry Public Company Limited, the first listed company on the Stock Exchange of Thailand to have a dual primary listing on the Singapore Exchange.As a lead partner in the REITs team, Rachel is involved, among others, in the initial public offerings of Frasers Logistics & Industrial Trust the largest initial pure-play Australian logistics and industrial REIT in Singapore and the largest initial public offering in Singapore since 2013 at the point of its listing; BHG Retail REIT, the first and only initial public offering on the mainboard of the SGX in 2015; SPH REIT; Keppel DC REIT, the first data centre REIT listed in Asia; Frasers Hospitality Trust, the first global hotel and serviced residence trust to be listed on the Singapore Exchange and Mapletree Greater China Commercial Trust, the largest initial public offering for a REIT in Singapore's history.Rachel graduated from the National University of Singapore. She is admitted to the Singapore Bar and to the Roll of Solicitors of England & Wales. Rachel also holds a Certified Diploma in Accounting and Finance from the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (UK).Rachel is an independent non-executive director of StarHub Ltd., Olam International Limited and SPH REIT Management Pte. Ltd., manager of SPH REIT. She is also a board member of Certis CISCO Security Pte. Ltd., the Public Utilities Board and the Singapore Accountancy Commission. In addition, she sits on the Board of Trustees of Singapore Institute of Technology and the Council of the Singapore Business Federation.Rachel is a member of the Committee on the Future Economy, which was formed by the Singapore government in January 2016 to develop economic strategies to position Singapore for the future. She is also a Supervisory Committee member of ABF Singapore Bond Index Fund established by the Monetary Authority of Singapore. Rachel sits on the Reuters Editorial and Best Lawyers Advisory Board. She is also a member of the Appeals Panel in Abu Dhabi Global Market.She is an Honorary Legal Adviser to the Real Estate Developers Association of Singapore (REDAS), and a Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Directors.
