About Paul-Matthieu
Paul-Matthieu Grondin first worked as a lawyer for the House of Commons and then joined the Oliphant Commission, which investigated the business dealings between the Right Honourable Brian Mulroney and Mr. Karlheinz Schreiber. He then acted as counsel for the Honourable Michel Bastarache during the Commission of Inquiry into the Judicial Appointment Process. He is also the author of articles in the Journal of the Institute of Parliamentary and Political Law.He received his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sherbrooke and his Juris Doctor from Queen's University. Mr. Grondin joined Roberto Savarese to co-found the Grondin Savarese firm in February 2009. He has since been a guest lecturer at the University of Sherbrooke, McGill University, the École des Hautes Études Commerciales of the University of Montreal, the Université Jean Moulin III in Lyon, the American Bar Association and the Barreau du Québec. In January 2014, he won first prize in the international public speaking competition in Brussels, Belgium. On May 31, 2014, he was elected President of the Young Bar of Montreal, becoming its 115th President in its history.From 2017 to 2021, he was elected and re-elected as President of the Quebec Bar, becoming the youngest president in the history of the Quebec Bar and professional orders.He has written over 100 blog posts on labor law jurisprudence.Practice : Employment and labor law, support for workplace investigations, public inquiry commissions
