About Nicholas
Nick represents employers in all areas of labor and employment law, including claims involving discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour violations, and class and collective actions. He defends clients with a practical, results-driven approach in federal and state courts, before administrative agencies such as the EEOC and NLRB, and in arbitration. In addition to litigation, Nick provides strategic counseling to help clients navigate complex workplace issues, comply with evolving employment laws, and avoid legal disputes before they arise. Before joining the firm, Nick practiced on the plaintiff side, giving him a unique perspective on employment litigation and a strong understanding of both the legal and human elements of workplace disputes that helps him work closely with clients to develop tailored strategies that align with their business goals.Nick earned his J.D., with distinction, from the University of Iowa College of Law and his B.A. in History, cum laude, from Rhodes College. He is admitted to practice in Minnesota state and federal courts.Outside of the office, Nick enjoys biking around the Chain of Lakes with his wife and daughter and reading historical non-fiction.
