His bankruptcy practice encompasses a broad spectrum of cases, from representing secured and unsecured lenders, landlords, and various debtors in restructuring, Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 bankruptcy proceedings to adversary proceedings. Prior to his work at Berry Riddell LLC, Michael was part of the team at Zwillinger Greek & Knecht PC, where he honed his skills as a Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring attorney. He also gained valuable experience through his role as the first Pro Se Law Clerk for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Arizona.
Besides his professional life, Michael Zimmerman is deeply involved in the community. As an active member of the Arizona Bankruptcy Inn of Court and the Bankruptcy Sections of the State Bar of Arizona and the Maricopa County Bar Association, he serves on multiple boards and committees dedicated to improving legal services for those facing bankruptcy proceedings. His dedication extends beyond his professional commitments as a pro bono representative in support of Phoenix Collegiate Academy Charter School.
