Most recently, I worked with a diverse team of Nixon Peabody attorneys in the representation of a Connecticut hospital in its acquisition of a Rhode Island hospital system.Hospital/Physician IntegrationI work with many New York-based hospitals and private practices in their integration. These transactions involve complex legal and business issues as the parties attempt to adapt to changes in health care regulations and economics.Private EquityI handle all phases of a private equity firm’s investment in a portfolio company including add-on acquisitions and exit transactions. Most recently, my focus has honed in on investments in health care management companies, which requires a deep understanding of the health care laws and regulations that place restrictions on certain PE investments.
