About Matthew
Matthew is originally from Nova Scotia and attended St. Mary’s University for his undergraduate degree where he was the recipient of academic and athletic scholarships. Matthew later obtained his LLB from Schulich School Law at Dalhousie University. Matthew spent the first 15 years of his career working at a large downtown Toronto law firm working exclusively for insurance companies. Matthew has appeared at all levels of Court in Ontario and has extensive experience relating to complex motor vehicle accidents, fatalities, long term disability claims, slip and falls, professional liability and property disputes. Matthew is very pleased to now be using the knowledge and experience he gained while defending insurance companies to represent injured people. Matthew has most recently been recognized by his peers and named to Best Lawyers in Canada in both Personal Injury Litigation and Insurance Law. When not in the office Matthew enjoys spending time with his wife and three young children and coaching hockey.
