M. Fadlullah Cerrahoğlu

Prof. Dr. M. Fadlullah Cerrahoglu was born in 1941 and was graduated from the University of Istanbul, Faculty of Law in 1965. In 1971, he completed his PhD at Marmara University (Istanbul) and became a full professor in 1980.Dr. Cerrahoglu taught Commercial Law at the Marmara University from 1980 to 1998 and at the Bosphorus University (Istanbul) from 1978 to 1983. He served as the principal of the School of Journalism between 1976 and 1977 and as the Dean of Faculty of Technical Education of Marmara University (1983-1987).In 1966 he founded Cerrahoglu Law Firm and he is currently the managing partner of this law firm. He is a board member of Eczacibasi Holding. He is also a member of Turkish Economic and Social Studies Foundation. Dr. Cerrahoglu is a listed arbitrator of the Chamber of Commerce of Istanbul has served in various international arbitrations as arbitrator and counsel.Dr. Cerrahoglu has four books and various articles on Turkish commercial law.
