Lou-Anne Farrell joined Harrison Pensa as Counsel in 2022 to help build our Estate Litigation practice.She has been practicing in the Estate Litigation field for over 35 years. Her practice includes will challenges, spousal and dependent’s claims, removal of executors and contested estate audits, as well as Power of Attorney litigation, capacity litigation, the appointment of guardians, and Breach of Trust claims. Her expertise in this field is recognized locally and throughout the province, and she writes and speaks frequently on these topics.Lou-Anne is also a trained mediator who regularly conducts mediations in estate-related disputes.Lou-Anne is a former Chair of the Trusts and Estates Section of the Ontario Bar Association, and is a former Alternate Chair of the Ontario Review Board, the tribunal which conducts annual reviews of persons found not criminally responsible for a criminal offence by reason of a mental disorder.
