About Lee
Lee Floyd spent the first part of her career expertly defending some of the country’s largest and most influential corporations including pharmaceutical companies and national automotive manufacturers. Impressively, Lee was the first female partner in the products liability group of one of the nation’s leading law firms and the youngest partner in that firm’s history. In 2019, she was one of only ten lawyers selected nationwide to join the prestigious Products Liability Advisory Council’s as a Future Leader. While everything seemed to be falling into place for Lee, she found herself wanting something more.During the pandemic, Lee became a fierce advocate for a paralegal at Lee’s previous firm who was facing a diagnosis of stage four metastatic breast cancer. Only given a short time to live, her only hope was to receive a very expensive treatment that might give her more time with her three year old son. Lee reached out to other women, started a social media campaign, organized crowdfunding, and solicited help from powerful and connected people to get her paralegal the assistance she so desperately needed. The result was her friend was able to get the care she needed to fight her cancer. But the result for Lee was deeper. She now realized that the best use of her time and talents was in helping others who have nowhere else to turn.In January 2022, Lee changed career paths, leaving the world of corporate defense for personal injury litigation. Now, as a Partner with Breit Biniazan, she offers a unique perspective having worked in the trenches on the defense side. Lee was born and raised in Alexandria, Virginia a proud graduate of T.C. Williams High School. Lee attended the University of Virginia for her undergraduate studies and received her J.D. from West Virginia University College of Law.Lee is a devoted wife and proud mom to two young girls and lives in the Richmond area.
