Kathleen Chevalier is a partner practising in the Employment & Labour Group and a member of the Associates Committee in the Toronto office. She advises clients on all aspects of the employment relationship in both unionized and non-unionized environments, and provides advice in respect of the employment impact of commercial transactions. Kathleen has been a leading employment law advisor at the forefront of managing the impact of COVID-19 on employers, and her expertise has been sought and referenced in articles by the Globe & Mail, BNN Bloomberg, Benefits Canada and a television appearance on BNN Bloomberg.Kathleen acts as counsel to corporations and board committees in respect of executive matters including allegations of corporate misconduct, employee fraud/misappropriation, corruption, financial misstatements and related investigations, and disclosure, liability and governance matters. She routinely represents clients in litigation arising out of the employment relationship including wrongful dismissal litigation, grievance arbitration and matters before the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario.Kathleen advises many of the firm’s most valued public, private and private equity clients.
