Justin Contratto is an experienced family law practitioner and trial attorney.Prior to joining BodnarMilone, Justin was employed by well-regarded matrimonial firms in Manhattan and Northern Virginia, where he represented clients in complex matrimonial matters. Justin’s matrimonial practice has focused on the representation of high net worth individuals, including partners at major law firms, tech industry and finance executives, and high-profile public figures.Justin began his legal career in Brooklyn Family Court as a trial attorney with the Legal Aid Society’s Juvenile Rights Practice, where he was respected for his exceptional trial skills and devotion to his clients. While with the Juvenile Rights Practice, Justin was elected by his peers to the position of Vice-President of the Association of Legal Aid Attorneys, a testament to his tireless advocacy.Following three years with the Juvenile Rights Practice, Justin transferred to the Legal Aid Society’s Criminal Defense Practice in Manhattan. Justin represented clients charged with all manner of crimes, from minor infractions to serious felony offenses in Manhattan Criminal and Supreme Courts. Always a fierce advocate for his clients, Justin conducted both bench and jury trials as sole and lead counsel.Justin received his B.A. in History from the University of Minnesota, and his J.D. from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis.
