Joshua (Josh) Sadovnick has a split practice, with focuses on commercial litigation and employment disputes, both insured and uninsured claims.With reference to commercial litigation, Mr. Sadovnick regularly represents insurers, owners, developers, general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers. Mr. Sadovnick has acted as counsel in commercial disputes on a variety of complex claims, including general commercial and construction disputes, deficiency claims, construction failures (including fires, collapses and other catastrophic events), errors and omissions claims, cost overruns, delay claims, liens, and surety bonds. With reference to employment litigation, Mr. Sadovnick regularly represents employers, and their insurers, in human rights, employment standards, and wrongful dismissal claims. This work has included claims of wrongful dismissal that involve executive-level employees with complicated benefit and stock option plans.Mr. Sadovnick has represented clients in the courts of British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan and is a member of law societies of both British Columbia and Alberta.
