Jeffrey B. Keiper is a principal in the Cleveland, Ohio, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Throughout his career, Jeff has devoted his practice exclusively to several areas of management side employment and labor law.Jeff has successfully defended complex single- and multi-plaintiff employment litigation matters for large manufacturing and service companies, both in court and in arbitrations, and has also handled countless labor arbitrations. He has represented employers before multiple state and federal courts, as well as state and federal agencies such as the OCRC, EEOC and NLRB. Jeff has significant experience representing employers in the food production, life sciences, automotive, steel/metal fabricating and coatings, and other manufacturing industries in a variety of litigation and traditional labor relations matters, including collective bargaining and representation cases.Jeff has particularly extensive experience advising and defending employers in sexual harassment, disability, accommodation, retaliation, and other employment discrimination claims, and the full range of wrongful discharge claims. He also frequently provides training, consultation and coaching relative to such matters, including preventive strategies, reasonable accommodation, union avoidance, and practical solutions.While attending law school, he was an associate editor of the Ohio State Law Journal.
