He has many years of experience in national and international M&A transactions involving strategic and financial investors, including private equity funds. His international focus has been on the USA, China, Austria and Italy. Dr. Schiffer has comprehensively advised multinational corporations as well as medium-sized companies on both the seller and the buyer side. In addition, he has been involved in several corporate law disputes for minority or majority shareholders, some of which lasted many years, and has participated in numerous corporate restructurings.Before joining the firm, he was a founding partner and for several years managing partner of Advant Beiten.Dr. Schiffer publishes on the topics of corporate transactions and corporate law. He is a co-commentator of Schwerdtfeger's corporate law commentary, now in its 4th edition.
