J. Lister Hubbard

Lister Hubbard, a native of Montgomery, was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in 1980. He received an A.B.J., magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia, and a J.D from the University of Alabama School of Law as a Hugo L. Black Scholar. Lister concentrates his practice in the areas of construction law, public procurement law, environmental law and commercial litigation.As legal counsel for the Alabama AGC (Associated General Contractors), he drafted and facilitated passage of comprehensive reform legislation for Alabama’s competitive bid law. He has attained statewide prominence in the field of public procurement law, counseling both business and government as well as shaping legislative and regulatory initiatives in the field.
