Gerhard Buehning focuses his practice in business and commercial litigation, with additional work in construction law, education, intellectual property and labor and employment. Gerhard has significant experience in employment-related cases both in court and before administrative agencies and has represented management against claims involving, among other things, workplace discrimination, harassment, whistleblower retaliation, unequal pay, and wage payment violations.In addition to serving his corporate clients, Gerhard frequently provides pro bono services. He has heavy involvement with Volunteer Lawyers for Justice, whose mission is to ensure access to justice for people experiencing poverty.Prior to joining the firm, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Mark Falk, United States Magistrate Judge for the District of New Jersey, for the 2015-2016 term. Gerhard earned his J.D. from New York Law School. During law school, Gerhard was a summer associate at Connell Foley LLP. Gerhard earned his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University in 2011.
