He attended university and law school at the University of Georgia. During law school, George interned for Judge J. Owen Forrester of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.George started his legal career as a judicial law clerk in the Superior Court of Clayton County and then as a litigation associate at a boutique insurance defense firm of Bentley, Karesh and Seacrest (the law firm of the father of Ryan Seacrest, celebrity and host of American Idol). He quickly gained a reputation as a skilled attorney. After a few years, he started his own law practice in Clayton County, just south of Atlanta. On the court appointed indigent defense list in Clayton County, he quickly gained a reputation as a trial lawyer fiercely dedicated to his clients. He obtained many felony acquittals. Since he focused his practice on DUI Defense and Personal Injury and moved his main office to downtown Atlanta, he has had over one hundred not guilty verdicts at DUI jury trials and has had many, many more cases reduced from DUI to reckless driving or dismissed outright.
