I also work on other financing-secured transactions with an emphasis on infrastructure and nonprofit lending. Much of my practice centers on transactions involving new markets tax credits and the economic development of underserved communities. I have also represented a number of national banks on balance-sheet loans for the development, acquisition, and refinancing of commercial and industrial real estate assets.In addition to my finance practice, I also work with clients on general real estate matters, including development, entitlements, leasing, and acquisitions.Looking aheadEconomic uncertainty will require creativity in financing structures to ensure lenders and investors are well-positioned no matter what the world looks like in the near future.Additionally, changes in transportation, including electrification, will have significant impacts on infrastructure and real estate investments.
