Esther brings a varied background in financial matters to her work in financial restructuring, bankruptcy, and creditor's rights. She is adept at negotiating and crafting settlements, payment plans, and has been actively involved in commercial transactions and corporate formations, including LLCs. Her work includes researching and preparing legal memoranda focused on federal regulatory compliance, financial institutions, employment law, and corporate matters. Esther is also experienced in federal and state labor and employment law, including the nuances of New York State Education Law, and provides representation in federal EEOC discrimination cases.While in law school, Esther gained valuable experience as a law clerk at a firm focused on family law, where she was involved in the analysis of financial documents related to divorce cases. She conducted research and prepared memoranda on child support and the equitable division of assets.Esther further honed her skills through clerkships at the in-house legal department of National Fuel Gas Company, dealing with issues pertinent to the energy sector, and at a criminal law firm. Her experience is rounded out by clerking for the Honorable Thérèse Wiley Dancks, Magistrate Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York.A dedicated athlete, Esther played Division III lacrosse at Oswego from 2012 to 2016. Her athletic achievements include the SUNY Chancellor’s Scholar-Athlete Award in 2016, additional honors like First Team All-Empire Conference, First Team All-SUNYAC, and recognition as Oswego State’s Outstanding Senior Female Athlete.
