I lead the Bankruptcy & Restructuring Team in Kilpatrick's New York office and maintain a national practice representing companies, creditors' committees, chapter 11 trustees, acquirers, financial institutions, and other significant parties in interest in complex reorganizations and financially distressed situations. I serve as a legal and strategic advisor in connection with debtors’ and creditors’ rights, corporate reorganizations, commercial and general corporate transactions, distressed acquisitions, secured transactions and structuring of secured transactions, bankruptcy implications of corporate transactions and agreements, and the duties of officers and directors. In addition, I have substantial litigation experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in complex commercial litigation inside the context of complex reorganization cases and in state and federal courts around the country. I have handled all manner of pre-trial proceedings and tried both jury and non-jury trials in bankruptcy court, state court and federal court.
