With an eye on maximizing returns and mitigating risk, Chris regularly advises lenders and other interest holders on creditors’ rights issues and commercial transactions involving financially distressed situations, and serves as outside general counsel and litigation counsel for organizations of all sizes and structures.
Chris brings a sophisticated understanding of general corporate and insolvency issues, counseling clients on organization, operation, and litigation (including representation in all aspects of bankruptcy restructurings and liquidations; judicial and non-judicial foreclosure actions; resolution of shareholder/stakeholder disputes in closely-held companies; company and asset acquisitions and sales; and definition of property rights and litigation related thereto).
Chris and his wife Leah live in Portland’s West End and spend their weekends in the mountains of western Maine.
