In her labour and employment practice, Cheryl works with employers to litigate, mediate and resolve disputes relating to employment matters, human rights and privacy complaints. She also advises on and assists employers with reviewing and preparing employment agreements, workplace policies and non-disclosure, non-competition and non-solicitation agreements and terminations and departing employee issues, including in the context of commercial transactions. In addition, Cheryl advises employers on a wide array of employment related issues including employment standards compliance, workers’ compensation, human rights issues, privacy compliance and complaints, workplace discipline and disability management and return to work. She regularly advises on drug and alcohol testing policies and practices, including in the emerging area of law surrounding the legalization and use of cannabis.
