Former managing partner of Mijares, Angoitia, Cortés y Fuentes and foreign associate at Garrigues, Mr Malpica founded the highly recognised litigation boutique Malpica, Iturbe, Buj & Paredes in 2014.Ranked by national and international publications as one of the best litigators in Mexico, Mr Malpica has represented plaintiffs and defendants in all types of cases and proceedings before the Supreme Court of Justice as well as federal and state courts. Examiner and professor for the JD programme in banking law and for postgraduate courses at the Escuela Libre de Derecho and the Ibero-American University.Mr Malpica holds an LLM from The Complutense University of Madrid and several PGCs from the University of Notre Dame. He is admitted to practise in Mexico, holds a JD from the Ibero-American University and performs since 2016 as an honorary overseas member of the Commercial Bar Association of England and Wales (COMBAR).
