Cameron joined the firm in 2009 as a partner and has over 20 years’ experience in public liability, product liability, professional indemnity, contractors all risk, property and industrial special risk insurance and self-insurance.Cameron also has experience in dust diseases, intentional torts arising out of child sexual and physical abuse and bullying, commercial litigation and building and construction litigation.Cameron provides pre-contractual advice in relation to insurance policy wordings and contractual insurance and indemnity clauses, and Cameron acts in disputes arising out of the denial of indemnity.Cameron's clients include government departments, insurers, international and ASX listed public companies, private companies, and insurance brokers. His concentration on the little things has ensured the big things take care of themselves, such that he has assisted his clients to achieve a near perfect record in litigated claims which have proceeded to verdict.Cameron is well aware that a client’s best outcome is one achieved quickly and at minimal cost.He is a former president and current committee member of the Victorian chapter of the Australian Insurance Law Association (AILA) and is also a current member of the national board of AILA. Cameron has a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Economics with honours and is a trained mediator.Cameron is also a member of the firm’s pro bono committee and has a significant pro bono practice.
