Camden P. "Cam" Siegrist

Camden P. Siegrist is a partner in the Bowles Rice Charleston office and a member of the Commercial and Financial Services Practice Group. His primary practice areas include municipal bonds and related governmental financings, securities and commercial transactions. He has been a practicing attorney since 1984. In addition, Mr. Siegrist was issued a certificate in 1985 by the West Virginia Board of Accountancy designating him as a Certified Public Accountant. He is a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the West Virginia Army National Guard, and served in the National Guard from 1981 to 2009. A native of Clarksburg, West Virginia, he received his bachelor of science degree in business administration, magna cum laude, in 1981 from the West Virginia University. He earned his law degree in 1984 from West Virginia University College of Law, where he served as lead articles editor for the West Virginia Law Review (1983-1984). Mr. Siegrist is a member of the Kanawha County Bar Association, the West Virginia Bar Association, the West Virginia State Bar, the National Association of Bond Lawyers and the West Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants. In 2009, he was named to Best Lawyers in America in the areas of Corporate Law and Public Finance Law. He has also been recognized by Chambers USA: America’s Leading Business Lawyers in Corporate/Commercial Law - Banking & Finance. In 2013, he was named Best Lawyers’ Public Finance Law Lawyer of the Year in the southern West Virginia region.
