Brent A. Coudron has extensive experience structuring and negotiating complex stock and asset purchases, mergers, conversions, reorganizations, and joint venture arrangements on behalf of both public and private company clients.
He has advised insurance and financial service companies in various transactional matters including domestic and cross-border alternative financing and derivative transactions (including regulatory reserve financings) as well as complex reinsurance arrangements. His experience also includes innovative transactions for the transfer of insurance-related risks to the capital markets, such as embedded value and closed block securitizations.
Brent A. Coudron is admitted to practice in the state of Illinois. He served stints in the summer as a law clerk in the Felony Trial Division of the Cook County State's Attorney's Office and as a financial analyst in the private equity group of Credit Suisse prior to joining Barnes & Thornburg.
