About Bethany
Bethany is dedicated to advocating for individuals and families affected by medical negligence and birth injuries. Her practice is driven by a deep commitment to improving patient safety and ensuring accountability within the healthcare system. Bethany joined Gluckstein Lawyers as a summer student in 2021 and returned to complete her articles with the firm in 2022 after earning her Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law. She returned to Gluckstein Lawyers as an Associate in 2023.Prior to entering law, Bethany graduated from Dalhousie University with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a double minor in Health Studies and Philosophy. She also worked at a non-profit in the healthcare sector focusing on quality patient care and patient advocacy and was the Vice President of the Health Law Students' Association during law school.Bethany combines her legal expertise with a strong background in health sciences, allowing her to navigate complex medical issues with clarity and precision. She works closely with clients to help them understand their rights, tell their stories, and seek meaningful resolution.Beyond her legal work, Bethany serves on the Board of Directors of the Brain Injury Association of the Ottawa Valley and volunteers with several professional organizations, including the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and the Carleton County Law Association. When she is not practicing law or volunteering, you can find Bethany on the golf course or at the ball diamond.
