During college she volunteered for a domestic violence and sexual assault advocacy program and shelter, where she would later work for seven years. Over time, it became apparent that lawyers played a huge part in outcomes—good and bad—for the survivors she served. And Becca knew she had the foundational skills to become a fierce and compassionate courtroom advocate. So, she headed back to school.Becca received her J.D. from the University of Nebraska College of Law. While there, she was Articles Editor for the Nebraska Law Review and served as co-president of the Equal Justice Society. After graduation, Becca clerked for Chief Judge John M. Gerrard of the United States District Court for the District of Nebraska. In her spare time, Becca enjoys skiing, hiking, biking and playing fetch with her dog, Sadie.
