Ashlee E. Sherman has experience across multiple phases of litigation, including invalidity and non-infringement analysis and defense, claim construction, drafting complex motions, assisting technical experts with reports, and supporting various pretrial matters. She has also been involved in a Section 337 Investigation before the U.S. International Trade Commission.Ashlee is a graduate of the University of Texas School of Law, where she served as an editor of the Texas Intellectual Property Law Journal. While in law school, she was a student attorney at the university's Domestic Violence Clinic, representing survivors to secure legal justice and equity. As a 2020 and 2021 summer associate at Perkins Coie, Ashlee handled a variety of patent litigation and intellectual property matters. She also was previously a judicial intern to the Hon. Alan D Albright at the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas.Prior to law school, Ashlee studied electrical engineering at Prairie View A&M University and completed technical internships with GE Energy, ExxonMobil, Chevron Phillips, and Chevron—gaining experience in both upstream and downstream oil and gas operations, including working on two offshore oil platforms in Deepwater Gulf of Mexico. She also was a consultant at Accenture, serving as an SAP APO Application Designer for clients in the consumer-products sector.
