Anandi is also a proud member of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats Tiger Town Council and on the Board of the YWCA Hamilton. She is a Past Board member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, a Past President of the Hamilton Medical-Legal Society, Past President of the Hamilton Lawyers Club, and Past Chair of the Lawyers Legacy for Children.During her tenure as Chair of the firm (2022-2024), Anandi focused on building equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives that benefited Ross & McBride’s lawyers, staff, and clients. She prioritized embracing technologies to modernize client service and make legal services more accessible. Anandi continues to lead these efforts as the head of the firm's Diversity Committee, ensuring ongoing progress in these critical areas, and was nominated for a YWCA Women of Distinction award in 2023.Anandi grew up in Ancaster and received her Bachelor of Arts degree at McMaster University before obtaining her law degree from the University of Leeds in England in 2001. She was called to the Bar in 2003 and has practiced at Ross & McBride for over 20 years.In addition to her passion for helping her clients, Anandi enjoys golfing, playing the piano, skiing, practicing yoga and spending time with her husband and two daughters. She is an avid lover of the arts, music, and dance and is a season ticket holder of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
