Mr Huerta became partner of Malpica, Iturbe, Buj & Paredes in 2014. Before that, he worked as an associate at Von Wobeser y Sierra, Mijares, Angoitia, Cortés y Fuentes, and Foreign Associate at Fulbright & Jaworski. He also was a founding partner of AVAH LEGAL.With more than 20 years of experience in litigation cases, Mr Huerta has been recognized by national and international publications as one of the best litigators in Mexico. He has a significant practice in complex litigation cases involving intellectual property rights. He has been part of cases decided by the Supreme Court, Federal and Local courts. Over the past eight years, he has been participating as a professor of some of the graduate programs offered by the ICC Mexican Chapter.Alvaro holds an LLM from Georgetown University. He is admitted to practice in Mexico, holds a JD from the Anahuac University Law School, and has obtained postgraduate degrees from the Panamerican University. He is a member of the Mexican Bar Association, IBA and INTA.
