Rhodes Hieronymus is a litigation law firm, created in 1931. We try cases in Oklahoma’s 3 federal districts and 77 district courts. Our trial and appellate cases have established the law of Oklahoma in many of the areas of our expertise.We help businesses resolve legal problems in Oklahoma. We boast an impressive record of results attained in high profile lawsuits. We are equally proud of results attained in disputes that never made the headlines.When major companies are sued in Oklahoma, we often are retained by national counsel for our local litigation expertise. Local companies retain us as their regular counsel.We recognize that multinational corporations with a serious matter in Oklahoma can be uncomfortable with the idea of entrusting their fate to 25 lawyers in Oklahoma who they have never met. For decades, we have teamed with many of the largest law firms in the world as local counsel. This allows clients to have the security of their matter being overseen by their regular lawyers, who are made even more effective with the benefit of our deep understanding of Oklahoma’s laws, its courts and its people.Smaller cases continue to be a substantial part of our practice. The challenge with a smaller case is to work the case so that it remains small. This is equal parts risk assessment, risk management and cost containment.Our turnover is low. Most of our lawyers began their legal careers in our summer program while in law school. Many of our staff have been with us for decades. Many of our client relationships go back decades as well. This stability and continuity allows us to tailor our services to meet the particular needs of a client without having to “relearn” the client with each new case.
