Bardsley Law was formed by lawyers who take the representation of clients to a higher level. Located in Southeastern Pennsylvania, but serving all of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York, our practice is concentrated on complex construction litigation, environmental law, product liability claims and professional liability claims involving architects, engineers, surveyors, consultants, lawyers, accountants, real estate agents and other real estate professionals.‍Philosophically, we believe that lawyers need to be problem solvers, not just litigators. We view litigation as a tool to resolve disputes – an expensive and inefficient tool – that lawyers too often default to when there are better alternatives. Bardsley Law focuses on the better alternatives, in a zealous effort to efficiently resolve each case. We know that the quicker a dispute is resolved, the better it is for all involved.Some of our attorneys also serve as private mediators, court-appointed arbitrators and/or judge pro tems (settlement masters), which permits us to quickly assess the strengths and weaknesses of matters, develop the necessary evidence and then focus on resolution. This translates to cost-effective and efficient handling of matters.When trial is necessary, we are experienced and successful, and prepare our cases accordingly. To Bardsley Law, winning a case means that our lawyers have guided the case to the best possible resolution in an efficient, cost-effective and responsible manner through the implementation of a thoughtful and comprehensive game plan that was clearly communicated to and agreed upon by the client. We recognize that litigation “wins” are defined by the circumstances that precipitated the claim and how those circumstances change as the litigation progresses. We also understand the best way to apply pressure that will lead to a successful settlement is to prepare for a successful trial, and if your opponent senses that you are just marching in place and waiting for a settlement, you will lose much of your leverage.With respect to insurance carriers, we understand it is our job to make your job easier. We recognize that law firms need to be service oriented, and clients do not like to chase lawyers or be surprised. We are responsive, proactive in assessing liability and exposure and timely in reporting. These core philosophies carry over to, and guide, our strong practice groups.‍Finally, we leverage technology to manage cases and safeguard our client’s information. The firm is paperless and cloud-based, so our Team can work remotely and respond to clients from anywhere without sacrificing speed or security. Because the cases we handle often involve vast amounts of digitally stored information, we use eDiscovery software, where appropriate and authorized, to request, obtain and search electronically stored information (ESI), including emails, scanned documents, text messages and social media content relevant to impending or ongoing litigation. We retain, store and manage these documents on our Document Management System, which uses a highly sophisticated process to encrypt and protect documents. Cyber security is a constant threat, but Bardsley Law’s IT Team is committed to relentlessly protecting the confidentiality of our client files, preserving the integrity of the information entrusted to Bardsley Law and preventing that information from being stolen, compromised or attacked.
