William “Billy” J. Wieland, II is a third-generation Florida attorney with deep family roots in Florida’s legal community. Following in the footsteps of his grandfather, Judge Bill Wieland, and his father, Glen Wieland, Billy has established himself as a respected trial attorney representing individuals and families in personal injury and workers' compensation cases throughout the State of Florida.Before becoming an attorney, Billy graduated magna cum laude from Stetson University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a minor in Business Law. Billy then earned his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law, graduating cum laude in 2010. While in law school, Billy was a founding member of the Defense Research Institute student chapter and served as a law clerk to the Honorable Judge Stan Strickland of the 9th Circuit Court in Orange County, Florida, including assisting on the high-profile Casey Anthony case.Billy began his legal career working for a large insurance defense firm, representing Fortune 500 companies and major insurance carriers in complex workers' compensation cases throughout Florida.
