Tim Goepel is a Partner in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group at Watson Goepel LLP. He conducts a broad civil litigation practice that focuses on commercial litigation, claims involving professional negligence, partnership/shareholder disputes, and employment matters.A committed advocate, Tim places a high value on responsiveness and clear communication throughout the dispute-resolution process, ensuring that his clients remain well-apprised each step of the way.Tim has experience at all levels of court in British Columbia and with the Federal Court of Canada, including trials, summary trial proceedings, injunction applications, interlocutory applications, oppression remedy proceedings, judicial review petitions, and appellant hearings. In addition, he has acted as counsel in arbitrations, mediations, and regulatory proceedings.Growing up on the West Coast, Tim competed at both the provincial and national levels in tennis. He began his undergraduate education in the U.S. on a tennis scholarship and then returned to Victoria to complete his degree. When not in court, or on the court, he spends his spare time with his young family.
